1、The Strategic Buyer is responsible for locating and maintaining the best sources of supply for the components, materials and services Wuhan Company needs. He has to consider all aspects of our relationship with suppliers, including quality, value and the ability to respond quickly to changing supply requirements. He has to aim to select suppliers that can act as long-term partners and help the company meet its growth objectives.

2、Strategic Buyers identify the suppliers that are most important to the success of SwissOptic Wuhan and negotiate long-term contracts that set out prices, quality standards, cost-reduction targets, delivery time scales, delivery reliability, quantity reliability and commercial terms and conditions. They monitor the performance of suppliers against contractual standards and work with them to achieve continuous improvements in cost and performance.

3、Suppliers that offer quality components or materials can help SwissOptic to reduce its cost and improve its own quality. This, in turn, improves SwissOptic’s competitive position in the marketplace for high quality optical systems. Strategic Buyers therefore assess suppliers’ quality standards and encourage suppliers to integrate these standards with those of SwissOptic. They also work with quality managers in both organizations to set up continuous improvement programs.

4、Strategic buyers are responsible for obtaining the best suppliers or services at the best value, according to the strategic goals of SwissOptic and Berliner Glas. They aim to achieve cost reductions while maintaining or improving the quality of supplies and services. These buyers also consider other facts that add value. If a supplier offers access to technology or components that can help SwissOptic develop new products or improve existing products, that supplier provides added value to the company.

5、Strategic buyers use different tools to improve their supplier base, like ABC/xyz-Analysis, SWOT-Analysis, Specific Category and/or Supplier Portfolios and TCO-Analysis.

6、In addition to their strategic role, strategic buyers are responsible for traditional purchasing functions. They handle purchasing request from different departments, issue purchase orders (i.e. first sample orders) and follow up orders to ensure that suppliers deliver on time. They create reports on purchasing and compare expenditures against purchasing budgets for different departments/Business Units or different types of supply.

任職要求：
1、Bachelor degree with at least 3-5 years progressive purchasing and supplier management experience in a industrial manufacturing environment. Experience in optics is preferred.
學(xué)士學(xué)位，至少 3-5 年制造業(yè)先進的采購和供應(yīng)商管理工作經(jīng)驗，光學(xué)相關(guān)經(jīng)驗優(yōu)先；
2、Must have strong analytical, negotiation, communication and problem solving skills
必須有較強的分析、談判、溝通和解決問題的能力；
3、Good optical/mechanical/electronic/understanding
良好的光學(xué)/機械/電子知識；
4、Good PC-skills(eMail, MS office
)良好的電腦操作技巧(郵件, 辦公軟件)；
5、Fluent, written and spoken English
流利的英語書面和口語。
